Frequently Asked Questions

1.  This is my first hunt what do I need?

a.  Hunters orange vest as a minimum, any gauge shotgun (12 or 20 preferred by most), shotgun shells (no larger than #6), and a positive attitude to have fun.

2.  Do I need to bring my own dog?

a.  No, a dog and handler can be reserved at the time of your booking.

3.  What does a typical hunt cost?

a. Depends on which hunt you choose and the number of hunters sharing the hunt. Please see Hunting Packages under Services.

4.  Do I need to make a reservation?

a.  Yes, reservations are required and can be made by calling Dean at 740-294-9399, or emailing Dean at dean@elsaanoutfitting.com

5.  Are deposits required?

a.  Yes, a 25% down non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date and time. Only the owner/operator has the right to cancel the hunt.  If your hunt is canceled you will be refunded your deposit or rescheduled to another date.  If for any reason you must cancel your hunt an additional $75 will be charged.  Final payments are due the day services are rendered

6.  Is an Ohio hunting licensed required?

a.  No.
